my great great uncle was killed a the battle of cambrai he was a tank gunner i have researched his story quit extencivly and visited his grave in flesqueres, very moving & also quite upseting i am also slightly convinced that the flesqueres tank is his. nice hope but not sure, my reason for this is that in his obituary in my local paper archive it says his tank was blown out and pushed into a trench then covered over cant wright more but get me back if ur interested.

Hi my friend got in touch with Philippe Gorczynski he runs the Hotel Beatus in Cambrai he dug up the Tank Deborah and put it on display, she and her Dad went there last year. I am still in touch with the family who's house my Grandfather was billeted in. 1918/1919. I hope to join the family at the Commemoration Ceremony next year.
